JOB OVERVIEW

In this role, your key responsibility is to ensure a fun and unforgettable shopping experience at Journeys while aiding with elementary store operations and meeting store and personal sales objectives and standards of performance.

JOB DUTIES

– Meet or exceed store and personal sales objectives and performance standards.
– Correctly execute all operation/loss prevention procedures in line with policies.
– Maintain store aesthetics and organization within the stockroom.
– Communicate store requirements effectively to store management.
– Stay updated with current fashion trends.
– Accurately complete all point of sale functions.
– Complete all designated tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner.
– Offer a fun, full-service shopping experience to all customers.
– Complete all required training.
– Understand and demonstrate the culture of Journeys to the team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

– Previous sales experience in retail is preferred.
– Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
– Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Motivation to succeed in a dynamic retail environment.
– Willingness to learn.
– Ability to take on night and weekend shifts.
– Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks such as climbing, reaching, bending, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
– Ability to stand for extended periods.
– Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
